This seminar examines digital dynamics in the world economy from a variety of perspectives. An overview of the digitalization of the world economy is provided. Selected topics will be presented to students, such as Dgital Dynamics, ICTs role for productivity and economic growth, ICTs and Climate Change, Regulation and Competition, the role of major digitalized economies. Students will learn the importance of the digital transformation in the global economy, and be able to identify the uses of and potential for ICTs in sectors across the economy.
